Event Description

The Role of Health Technology in Exercise Rehabilitation is a lunchtime education seminar looking at the emerging role of mobile apps to promote exercise in research and clinical practice. This education session will be based on the experiences of the RESTORE Trial, and Salaso.

The RESTORE Trial is a HRB funded research trial examining the effects of an exercise and diet-based rehabilitation programme for oesophageal cancer survivors. Salaso is an online exercise prescription service, allowing clinicians and researchers the opportunity to easily prescribe and monitor patient exercise adherence.

The event will take place in the Clinical Research Facility Seminar Room, St. James’s Hospital on the 18th October from 12:30-13:30. Lunch will be provided.
