Do you or one of your family or a friend have cancer? Do you want to know how exercise and healthy nutrition can help? MedEx is a community based chronic illness rehabilitation programme, based in DCU, which offers 3 cancer care pathways:
– Move On offers 12 weeks of supervised exercise and healthy nutrition advice to patients recovering from cancer treatment. Over 300 cancer survivors have now completed the programme and many will attend the seminar
– Living Life offers gentle supervised physical activity classes and healthy nutrition advice to people with advanced cancer
– Cancer Prepare offers an intense schedule of exercise (supervised and home-based) to patients who are preparing for cancer surgery
