Event Description

Immunotherapy is the treatment of disease through suppression, enhancement or inducement of an immune response. These treatments hold great potential in treating any type of cancers with little to no side effects, as the immune system is already such a universal component in human biology.

Join us and our panel of researchers as they discuss immunotherapeutics and the future of cancer research!

Panel includes:

Dr. Fergal Kelleher – Dr. Joanne Lysaght – Dr. Michelle Rockingham – Prof. Orla Sheils – Dr. Robert O’Connor

Make sure you stick around after as we’ll be having a “Meet the Researchers” session, where you’ll be able to chat to the researchers currently studying cancer treatments.

*This event is funded by the HRB under the HRB KEDS Programme
